HEY TEEN FEMINISTS, 💖✨🦋💕 Or I should say: HEY GUYS, GALS, & NON-BINARY PALS,💖✨🌈 In last episode of season 1, we discuss anti-asian hate as we ask a series of questions to both of these amazing online communities built by teens. the two featured are the Asian Youth Act (co-founder Ngan Le) & To All The Asians (founder: Makayla Cheng) who are two youth organizations all about educating gen z about the importance of asian lives. This was especially an important episode for us to talk about and share as you all have probably heard about the asian hate crimes that have been happening for the last couple of months, and even years. However they have been getting much worse as more asians in the US have been getting attacked, and even killed. In this episode we cover everything from what we can do to become an ally to the asian community to how this pandemic has made these hate crimes even worse.
