Anti-Hate Legislation, Exhibit Celebrates History of Black City Employees, and FUV Interviews Josh Ritter

New York’s City Council Committee to Combat Hate held a hearing about a package of legislation to protect places of worship and combat hateful rhetoric. But some people say the bill limits free speech. WFUV’s Mia Barth tells us more about what the bill promises. Mayor Zohran Mamdani is reminding New Yorkers with young children to enroll them in the city’s free 3-k and Pre-K programs before this Friday’s deadline.
