Anti-Racism, Connection, and Love During a Crazy Time - PS - I love you so much
from The Powerhouse Podcast | How to Win Your Pageant, How to Improve Your Mindset, Increase Confidence, Stop Comparing, Grow Your Faith In Christ · host Powerhouse Pageantry
This the most vulnerable and honest podcast I've ever recorded, and everything leading up to this was incredibly difficult to process. As you'll hear, I was shaking during the first 10 minutes because I so badly wanted my heart of love to come across in the best way possible. While I'll admit that I'm still processing through everything going on, in this episode, I encourage you that you don't have to have it all sorted either. I hope that your spirit can be comforted listening, that this makes you think and continue to think, and possibly even make you (rightfully) a little uncomfortable. I'm uncomfortable, I think we're all uncomfortable. And I think rightfully so. I didn't want anyone to put words in my mouth of how I think or feel; and I think many people are still processing what to say and how to say it. As a white woman, I understand that some people may have a hard time listening to me at all, and that's okay. I understand. And I hear you. Regardless, I want each and every person reading this to know that all black lives matter very much, I hope everyone is having tough and needed conversations during this time, and that we are all open-hearted to learn, grow, and listen.
