For as long as I can remember I've had a fascination with music written for the festive season. I love the beauty and melancholy of traditional Christmas hymns. In 2010 I was approached by Paul Morley to produce a set of backdrops for a show at London's Southbank Centre, "This Time Of Year," with appearances from Andrew Poppy, Rachael & Becky Unthank, Terry Edwards and Summer Camp. The seed for this EP was sown on this evening, and a couple of the themes were drawn from this performance. - Antonymes ... 'At This Time Of Year' is available now via the Antonymes Bandcamp web site: http://antonymes.bandcamp.com/album/at-this-time-of-year Also well worth mentioning is the upcoming full length release dropping 22.03.16. We have been lucky enough to hear the album in it's entirety and have been totally blown away by its beauty.
