Antrim - Turn Around (Original Mix) - AR128

from Asymmetric Recordings · host Asymmetric Recordings

Early support from Marymoon, Geist, Dale Middleton, Jamie Stevens, Chicola, Soul Button, Magitman, Li Polymer, Darin Epsilon, Olderic, Roy Rosenfeld, Siopis, Marten Sundberg Antrim lands on the well respected, and very cool Asymmetric Recordings, with two tasty originals, backed by two hot remixes. The talented Argentinian has released on various labels, including Hope, Perspectives Digital, and Sound Avenue, and has had various charts and support from Maceo Plex, Paul Oakenfold, Edu Imbernon, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Darin Epsilon, Eelke Kleijn and many more. Kicking things off with 'The Beginning Of The Dawn', and infectious melodic gem, with an air of mystery about it, as layers wash over the hypnotic groove, as we venture off to a dreamy land of groove. Kobb steps up on remix duties, adding a techier edge to proceedings, as this swaggering gem unleashes its magic, coated with the ethereal vibe and sounds from the original. Big bass hits add a punch as this punchy number works its magic. 'Turn Around' is the second original track from Antrim, and we go in with a tasty melodious affair, with clever effects and trippy tinges, before the bass and pads create a deep bass led sanctimonious break down, before gently building as the synths envelopes open up and returning with a punch! Denny Loco remixes here, and adds some power and drive, taking the track into a tougher more peak time territory, still using that infectious bass line, but with spacious swirly synths adding brightness. Solid stuff.

Song Against Songs, The by G. K. Chesterton (1874 - 1936) LibriVox LibriVox volunteers bring you 9 recordings of The Song Against Songs by G. K. Chesterton. This was the Fortnightly Poetry project for October 16, 2011.Chesterton was a large man, standing 6 feet 4 inches (1.93 m) and weighing around 21 stone (130 kg; 290 lb). His girth gave rise to a famous anecdote. During World War I a lady in London asked why he was not 'out at the Front'; he replied, 'If you go round to the side, you will see that I am.' On another occasion he remarked to his friend George Bernard Shaw: "To look at you, anyone would think a famine had struck England". Shaw retorted, "To look at you, anyone would think you have caused it". P. G. Wodehouse once described a very loud crash as "a sound like Chesterton falling onto a sheet of tin."( Summary from Wikipedia ) The Elevate Within Parsha Journey Ezra Balsam Welcome to the Elevate Within Parsha series where we feature weekly Parsha revelations to ignite inner growth 🧨📈🤩Previous recordings are posted on our podcast here:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/elevate-within-an-elul-journey/id1702861676. I hope you enjoy these audio recordings. Feel free to share with friends and enjoy!Brought to you by the creators of Mr. Nightmare. Keeping Records Headgum In 1977, NASA sent the Voyager into space with two records known as the “Golden Records.” On them were recordings of notable historic music, evocative nature sounds, and murmurs from contemporary life, all used to paint a picture of humanity and the world at large. Things have changed a lot since 1977, so Caleb Hearon and Shelby Wolstein are trying their hand at an update. They're talking with comedians, musicians, and the like about what they would include on their own “golden record” if a new one were sent today. Songs, images, films, and moments are all on the table in this comedic reflection on art, media, and culture.
