Anxiety - Guided hypnosis
Today’s episode is for anyone who’s been carrying a low-level hum of anxiety — that background noise of “what if,” the inner critic that won’t quiet down, or the feeling that you’re somehow not fully in control of your own mind. The truth is, most of us were never taught how to relate to our thoughts. We treat every anxious voice as urgent. We give it airtime. We let it run the show. But what if anxiety isn’t something that happens to you… what if it’s something you can step back from? In a few moments I’m going to guide you through a short, gentle hypnosis-style session. It’s not about forcing yourself to feel calm. It’s about remembering something simple and powerful: you get to choose what you listen to. You get to decide how close you stand to the thoughts that don’t serve you. We’ll use the breath as an anchor, create a little distance from the noise, and reconnect with the part of you that already knows how to choose. There’s nothing you need to do perfectly. Just listen, breathe, and let the words land wherever they land.
