Anything at all – Morning Prayer in Ordinary Time

Last week of the summer giving campaign! $1000 to go! Would you sow towards the ministry of Morning Prayer? It’s Tuesday of Ordinary Time, Proper 10 in the Church Calendar. July 18, 2023. This week we are following the Daily Office lectionary with an episode Monday through Friday. Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing “Search My Heart” by  Rick Founds and Todd Collins including a prayer of confession. We’ll read Psalms 26 and 28 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture lesson is Acts 12:1-17 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. We’ll then have a time of prompted prayer. If you have a prayer request please submit it here. Proper 10 - O Lord, mercifully receive the prayers of your people who call upon you, and grant that they may know and understand what things they ought to do, and also may have grace and power faithfully to accomplish them; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
