Kerrang February 1994 - Sepultura, New Crüe, and rating the Grunge Superhunks
from Can I Pod With Madness - Kerrang, Metal Hammer and Rock in the 80s
We're back with another deep dive into K482. We have a look at that televisual classic The Word (which has locked 50 Sepultura fans in a metal cage for no discernable reason). There's singlez (from Soundgarden, Primal Scream, Smashing Pumpkins and Corduroy), and posters (celebrating the Big Hitters of grunge. And Tad). The Wildhearts’ health and safety precautions are questioned and we look at a very dubious piece of cover art by a band called... sigh... Genital Deformities. The main feature is a look at the new “improved” 90s version of Mötley Crüe, which finds our heroes without Vince Neil, but apparently unable to talk about anything else. Similarly free of their best known front man, Marillion are 6 years Fishless, but still doing concept albums. And a film -gulp! Also: Korrespondents, Klassifieds, and a teaser for the next episode. You've never had it so good! Kerrang 482, February 19 1994 (PWM42) Recorded 8th March 2025 This week’s ad is for the @astrovert_media Podcast
