Friday's AOA began with Kurt Kovarik, VP of Federal Affairs at Clean Fuels Alliance America who is preparing for next week's final EPA RFS requirements and working to remind the admin of the importance of biofuels. In segment 2, Mike Steenhoek of the Soy Transportation Coalition discussed a pending bill in the US House that could allow states to raise weight limits on interstates for trucks. Dr. Steve Meyer, from Partners for Production Agriculture, joined the show in segment 3 with an update on the slide in margins in the pork industry and how they're adapting. The show closed with Jim Bair, President and CEO of US Apple, who talked about their board's recent trip to the White House to discuss industry issues.
