Tuesday's AOA began with an update from DC with Iowa's Senator Charles Grassley. He spoke about the Prop 12 decision, the impact of debt ceiling negotiations, and a farm bill update. In segment 2, NCBA CEO Colin Woodall joined with a look at the conversations happening around checkoff reform and how the Checkoff works. In segment 3, attorney Eldon McAfee of Brick Gentry law firm in Des Moines discussed the Supreme Court decision on Prop 12 and its impact on pork producers. Tuesday's AOA closed with DuWayne Bosse, Bolt Marketing, about the sell off in soybeans and his expectations for feeder cattle going forward.
