Irish distance runner Aoibhe Richardson is a professional athlete with the Atalanta Team, based in NYC. Having recently completed her master's in Public Health while competing as an NCAA athlete in the US, Atalanta was the ideal next step for Aoibhe. Uniquely, this non-profit team supports full-time female athletes who also provide mentorship to young girls in disadvantaged communities, neatly dovetailing her academic and athletic careers.
