Apathy, born Chad Bromley in Connecticut, discovered hip-hop at age five and quickly immersed himself in the genre. He made his debut on Jedi Mind Tricks' 1997 album before co-founding the Demigodz with Celph Titled. After early label interest from Interscope and Atlantic, he ultimately went independent, releasing Eastern Philosophy in 2006. Over the years, Apathy dropped numerous solo projects, including Wanna Snuggle?, Honkey Kong, and Handshakes with Snakes, collaborating with legends like DJ Premier, Nas, and B-Real.
