In a return to the weird world of 70's Marvel comics, Jack and Geoff turn their gaze toward the UK's POTA mag, and the Apeslayer contained therein! Chained to a weekly publishing schedule and starved for fresh Apes content, the editors made the only logical choice: they took a bunch of War of the Worlds comics, drew ape heads over the aliens, re-christened its protagonist, and called it a DAYpe!
