A hard freeze warning is expected for Thursday morning, with lows dropping into the mid-twenties.Public Safety: The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office is warning local seniors about an active phone scam. Callers are pretending to be a grandchild in jail and asking for bail money via gift cards.
