Appalachian Cryptids
from The Rabbit Hole: Conspiracy Theories Hosted by Danielle Mercy
In this episode, we investigate the most disturbing cryptids of the Appalachian Mountains, including Mothman, the Flatwoods Monster, and aggressive Bigfoot variants, and uncover eerie connections to underground tunnel systems, Cold War military testing, electromagnetic anomalies, and so-called “thin places.” From the Point Pleasant TNT Area to remote mountain regions inside and near the National Radio Quiet Zone, sightings cluster around disaster sites, restricted zones, and areas known for strange lights, missing time, and government secrecy. Are these creatures misidentified animals… or something exposed by radiation, frequency interference, or ancient forces beneath the mountains? This episode explores Appalachian folklore, cryptid sightings, government conspiracies, and high strangeness in one of the most mysterious regions in North America. 2:00 Mothman 17:09 Flatwoods Monster 25:18 Grafton Monster 30:02 Wood Booger 31:44 Moon-Eyed People www.stayskeptical.com Watch: https://rumble.com/user/rabbitholepodcast https://www.youtube.com/@Rabbit.holepodcast Wise Wolf Gold: https://www.wolfpack.gold/?ref=jvujkwgs Sources: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jcwvgWpPz8GqLxNwpeJM7AHqBJL2O3JWVdE8ggKK7_8/edit?usp=sharing www.stayskeptical.com Wise Wolf Gold: https://www.wolfpack.gold/?ref=jvujkwgs Sources: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jcwvgWpPz8GqLxNwpeJM7AHqBJL2O3JWVdE8ggKK7_8/edit?usp=sharing
