Apply and Don't Deny

We can listen to wisdom, agree with wisdom, quote wisdom, and even teach wisdom—but if we refuse to apply it to our lives, we can deny ourselves the very transformation that wisdom was designed to produce. In this episode of the Supporting Dads / Spiritual Dads Podcast, we challenge men to move beyond simply knowing what is right and begin living what they know. James 1:22 reminds us, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” The danger is not always that we don't know the truth. Sometimes the danger is that we know it, hear it, recognize it—and still refuse to put it into practice. Stop collecting principles you refuse to practice.
