Appointed as Priest

from Harbor City Church Sermons Hosted by Harbor City Church San Diego, CA

Series Title: The Superiority of Jesus Series Summary: The book of Hebrews begins with the audacious claim: Jesus is God’s last word. Jesus is God’s last word because he is the one who brings together all of the voices of the Old Testament. Jesus is God’s last word because he is the divine Son - God himself speaking to us. With this claim comes a question: Are we listening? Passages: Hebrews 5:1-10 Speaker: Omar Ortiz Jesus is from the wrong family and the wrong tribe to serve as a high priest. This week, we begin to unpack how Jesus is qualified to serve as our high priest.
