“Approach people as your equal” - Loho

from Wears My Podcast · host WMTV LDN

For this weeks episode we were joined by Loho, a 19 year old designer from West London and founder of the up and coming streetwear brand DripHead. As you’ll hear in this episode, this isn’t Loho’s first rodeo, despite being so young, Loho has already previously owned a successful brand called Drippy London which he later rebranded to DripHead, a decision he explains extensively in this episode. Loho’s ability to understand his audience and bring them into a community is something that I admire about him so he dropped some gems on us about how he does. Loho has been able to create a community of like minded young people who consider themselves DripHead’s as the essence of the brand very much gives people the space to decide what a DripHead is. You just have to go on their TikTok to see the community Loho has created, they have numerous viral videos of DripHead’s looking fly and being young, wild and free. A huge part of the DripHead brand is it’s take on metaverse fashion. Loho, being a digital native himself, breaks down why he thinks metaverse is so important and how he aims to leverage this with his brand. As you’ll see in the episode Loho is wise beyond his years. His humility and the respect he has for all those around him and has helped him enter spaces that have enabled him to learn from and rub shoulders with some of the best in the game, something that has truly helped him run his brand. Despite his humility, Loho is also super confident in himself and his brand, a trait that is admirable to see in such a young man. Since recording, the DripHead brand has grown exponentially! The brand has nearly 50k followers on Tiktok and 30k on Instagram! They recently held a collaborative real life activation in Central London where they had hundreds of people go on a treasure hunt to find their garms! Alongside this, Loho has literally done all the metaverse work he said he was going to do in this ep! DripHead are definitely one of the brands leading in the metaverse race! Thank you for listening, catch the visual for the episode on our YouTube channel and make sure to follow our instagram to keep up to date with the goings on in UK fashion.
