from English Service - WGM Church
3-8-2020 Weekly Messages Meditation of the week: Psalms 45: 1-17 Text: John 14: 1-3 Title: Approaching the Day of Christ (Rapture) and the Great Tribulation When Jesus told his disciples that he suffers and die on the cross and rise again the third day before he left them, he gave them a word of promise: ” Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.“(John 14:1-3) Apostle Paul received the word of revelation from the Lord Jesus about his coming back and taking them, to heaven, and testified very concretely to Thessalonian Church Saints: ” For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.“(1Thes. 4:16-18)“ Apostle Paul called this day as the day of Christ. In other word, as Jesus his disciples to comfort his disciples before he ascended to heaven, the Holy Ghost gave the same message to the disciples of Christ, the Church of Thessalonica to comfort them through Apostle Paul saying, “Forever be with the Lord.” How comforting word is this promise? Apostle John foretold and witnessed in the Holy Spirit what would happen in that day: ” After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. 3And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. “(Rev. 4: 1-3) The Lord showed Apostle John specifically when the Lord would come to take up his bridal church. After the age of churches is passed by through the words of seven churches, the door of heaven is to be opened at Revelation 4:1 , and the Lord Jesus appears in the air with the trumpet of God, saying, “Come up hither!” John immediately ascends to heaven to meet the Lord and shows him the throne of God. The Lord Jesus showed in great detail the divine judgment during the Great Tribulation on the earth. The Lord also showed Apostle John what would happen after rapture from Revelation 6 of the appearance of the Antichrist through to chapter 18, Chapter 19 also says that during the seven-year tribulation on earth, the raptured saints shall be married to the Lamb, Jesus Christ: ” Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 8And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. 9And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. ‘ (Revelation 19: 7-9) Long time ago, a psalmist sang a song of love, prophesying in the Holy Spirit about the scene of the Lamb’s marriage that would be happening in the future, and testified of those who would be invited to the marriage of the Lamb saved over the ages: ” Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. 7Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. 8All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad. 9Kings’ daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir. 10Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house; 11So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.”(Psalm 45: 6-11). The Lord Himself showed Apostle John the Father’s house that is the New Jerusalem, with many mansions, as he promised his disciples:: ” 2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.…. And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. 10And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, 12And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. clear as crystal; 14And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.“(Revelation 21: 2, 9-14). After the marriage with the Lamb, the saints shall be helping the Lord Jesus Christ when he comes back to judge the world judging the nations of the world and angels also. In response, Enoch testified of the Saints who would come down to the earth with the Lord in the future: ” . And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.“(Jude 1: 14-15). After judging the world with the Lord, the saints who were raptured, in the millennial kingdom that the Lord establishes on this earth will spend their honeymoon in the glory for a thousand years on this earth where they suffered for the sake of Christ in the city of New Jerusalem reigning together with Christ in glory as testified by Apostle Paul ” If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:….. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.“(2 Tim. 2:12, Romans). 8: 16-18) Amen! Hallelujah!
