Pastor Jeff wraps up what we learned this week—that the Redeemer we need must be both truly human and truly God—and that only Jesus, who became like us yet remained sinless, could do that. Because all humans are born in sin and cannot save themselves, Jesus alone is our perfect Redeemer who makes a way back to God. Hebrews 2:17 "Therefore, he had to be like his brothers and sisters in every way, so that he could become a merciful and faithful high priest in matters pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people."
