The disciples before meeting the risen Christ- the angels marvel that they were still struggling to believe Jesus (vv.1-12)II. The disciples with the risen Christ- they doubt and marvel as Jesus stood, spoke, showed, and ate with them after being crucified before them (vv.36-43)III. The disciples are fully dependent upon their risen Christ- they need Jesus to enlighten their minds and the Spirit to empower their going (vv.44-49)
