April 2020 Filled vs Unfilled Appointments

Today’s BIG Idea is a project I did last week to analyze filled vs unfilled appointment slots for a group that is trying to adjust their appointment templates in response to coronavirus.  The practice is trying to rebalance their templates in the short term to make sure that patients that need to be seen have a provider available, either via technology or an open exam room.  Longer term, the practice wants to make sure that on the rebound from covid-19 there are appointment slots available for the demand that will come, particularly surgeries and new patients.  I hope you are safe and well.
