Critically acclaimed author Patty Farmer and celebrated nightclub star Barbara Van Orden join Sterling and Stroili to discuss Farmer’s new book The Persian Room Presents (Vantage Press), a collaborative memoir of the (once) most elegant nightclub in New York City. Housed between 1934 – 1975 at the legendary Plaza Hotel at 5th Avenue and Central Park South, The Persian Room comes back to life in Farmer’s book through personal stories from such stars as Lainie Kazan, Jack Jones, Michele Lee, Carol Lawrence, Andy Williams, Julie Wilson, Tony Butala and many others ... including Ms. Van Orden.
