I’ve always been a HUGE fan of the movie, Freedom Writers, and the portrayal of “Eva” was always one of my favorite roles to have seen been portrayed. April Hernandez-Castillo was passing by town to promote her new memoir, Embracing Me, and she was able to pencil in some time to drop by the show and chat with me! This episode was sooooo “boricua” and I loved every minute of it! Of course, while we were chopping it up, she got to talk about her life growing up, her career, being abused, her abortion, and so much more!
