In this "State of the Game" update, I’m breaking down my scoring average for the month and seeing if I’m actually on track to hit my season goal of a 92 average.The Numbers:April Scoring Average: 96.3Season Starting Point: 98.4The Goal: 92.0The Lessons Learned:The numbers are moving in the right direction. My decision to force myself to use my woods paid off in a big way—I’m finding a lot more confidence with those clubs from the fairway. My putting has also seen a significant jump in consistency.However, the "grind" is real.
