April Showers

from Lured Up - A Pokémon GO Podcast · host Pickaxe

Lured Up 125 Recording Date - 4/2/2020 Publish Date - 4/4/2020   QUICK UPDATE - Between the time we recorded and released this episode, Niantic has announced that Spotlight Hour and Mystery Bonus Hour have been combined into a single Tuesday event!   Spring news is beginning to pour in to the world of Pokémon GO! We start off with our recap of the Safari Zone St. Louis Global Event activation. Tons of spawns, shinies, and rare Pokémon were to be had! This event was fantastic and gives us hope for future events of this type!   The first two April events are here with the currently running Tricky Event as well as the upcoming Spring into Spring Events! I am sure everyone is super excited about more Pokémon with hats! Jokes aside, there are some cool features for these events including some really good looking Togepi Avatar items!   Niantic is further embracing at home gameplay with the release of a blog post that details their plans to adapt some of their core philosophies. We detail the changes and speculate on how they could be implemented! Will these changes need to be permanent, or would the community be ok with having the rug pulled out from underneath them?   Next up is the Grass month rebalancing which includes some big changes to moves and move pools! Ludicolo looks to be a threat with Energy Ball and Niantic has heard our concerns about Ancient Power being too OP!   We wrap up by Poking The Bear by asking - Has Pokemon GO become the game you hoped and imagined it to be? Join the conversation on social media and share your thoughts!   Safari Zone St. Louis Recap - bit.ly/LU125StLouis April Event Update - bit.ly/LU125April Tricky Event - http://bit.ly/LU125Tricky Gym Distance - bit.ly/LU125GymDistance  Grass Move Rebalance - http://bit.ly/LU125Rebalance  Landorus Raid Guide - http://bit.ly/LU125Landorus Poke The Bear - http://bit.ly/LU125PokeTheBear 6D.ai - http://bit.ly/LU1256D  Casual Coops - http://bit.ly/LU125CasualCoops   Secret League Pin - http://bit.ly/SecretLeaguePin  Google Calendar - https://bit.ly/LuredUpGoogleCalendar    [email protected]    Inappropriate Voicemail, Text, and Picture Line - 732-835-8639  http://pokemonprofessor.com  https://www.luredup.com http://bit.ly/PokeProfNetPatreon  http://bit.ly/PokeProfNetFacebook  http://bit.ly/PokeProfNetTwitter  http://bit.ly/PokeProfNetYouTube  http://bit.ly/PokeProfNetInstagram  http://bit.ly/LuredUpTumblr  http://bit.ly/LuredUpApplePodcasts   http://bit.ly/LuredUpSpotify  http://bit.ly/LuredUpStitcher  http://bit.ly/LuredUpGooglePodcasts  http://bit.ly/LuredUpIHeartRadio    Hosts Ken Pescatore Adam Tuttle   Writer and Producer Ken Pescatore   Executive Producer  Paul Bhatt   Show music provided by GameChops and licensed through Creative Commons   ▾ FOLLOW GAMECHOPS ▾ http://instagram.com/GameChops http://twitter.com/GameChops http://soundcloud.com/GameChops http://facebook.com/GameChops http://youtube.com/GameChops http://www.gamechops.com   Intro Music Lake Verity (Drum & Bass Remix)  Tetracase GameChops - Ultraball http://gamechops.com/ultraball/ https://soundcloud.com/tetracase  https://soundcloud.com/MegaFlare0   Break Music National Park Mikel and GameChops GameChops - Poké and Chill http://smarturl.it/pokechill https://twitter.com/mikel_beats   Outro Music Vast Poni Canyon CG5 and GlitchxCity (Future Bass Remix) GameChops - Ultraball http://gamechops.com/ultraball/  http://soundcloud.com/cg5-beats https://soundcloud.com/glitchxcity Pokémon And All Respective Names are Trademark and © of Nintendo 1996-2019Pokémon GO is Trademark and © of Niantic, Inc.Lured Up and Pokémon Professor are not affiliated with Niantic Inc., The Pokémon Company, Game Freak or Nintendo.   #pokemon #pokemongo #podcast Learn more about your ad choices.
