🔙 Aquarius Season Throwback 2022 — The Sun In Detriment & Saturn Comes to Collect | Astrology Ride of the Day

We have reached the middle of winter and the Sun has crossed into Aquarius — the sign of its detriment. The opposite of Leo, where the Sun shines brightest. Here it has no access to its resources, no people lending a helping hand, operating under the control of Saturn — the Lord of Darkness — who rules this sign and is co-present. Detriment doesn't mean powerless. The Sun still brings light to your Aquarius house. But for the next 30 days the ego is under examination. What is your relationship with authority and authority figures? How do your fears limit you from achieving your goals? Do you have self-control and discipline or are you defensive and in denial? Aquarius is an air sign — intellect, information, communication, the skills needed when dealing with groups. And Saturn always comes to collect on time. Know thyself. Balance your energy.TAKEAWAYSThe Sun enters Aquarius in detriment — the opposite sign of Leo where it rules — meaning it operates without its natural resources and under Saturn's authority for 30 days.Saturn is co-present in Aquarius, making it the dominant force of this season — the Lord of Darkness running the sign while the Sun tries to shine through the structural demands.Aquarius is an air sign governing intellect, information, and communication — skills that become essential when navigating group dynamics, authority structures, and collective goals. The Sun in Aquarius puts the ego under examination — your relationship with authority, your self-discipline, and whether your fears are limiting what you're capable of achieving.Saturn collects on time every time — Aquarius season is the annual reckoning with structure, accountability, and the honest assessment of whether you are building or just defending.Links referenced in this episode:iamastrologyreadings.comCompanies mentioned in this episode:IamastrologyreadingsPayPalVenmoCash AppSupport the mythic classroom: https://i-am-astrology-readings.captivate.fm/supportBook a Reading: https://i-am-astrology-readings.captivate.fm/book-reading#astrologyrideoftheday
