ARC Raiders China Update — The Rebellion Incident PvE Mode Explained
from Camping the Extract: An ARC Raiders Podcast · host ToxicTeacherTTV
ARC Raiders just got a China-only PvE mode and it might be the beginning of the end. On Episode 22 of Camping the Extract, The Toxic Teacher breaks down the biggest ARC Raiders news in months: Embark's partnership with Tencent, the new China closed-beta build, and a mode called The Rebellion Incident — where every player starts as an ally, PvP damage is set to zero by default, and you have to opt in to combat by lighting up a red icon over your own head. Toxic and AI co-host Nicky "Noodle Arms" A.I. Dente walk through what it means for the extraction experience, the new Double King / Dual Boss map condition (Queen + Matriarch at the same time), and whether this is coming to the global build in the rumored October 2026 update.Plus: Real Earl Grey does the research so you don't have to — the Tencent empire (Riot, Epic, Hollywood), Escape from Tarkov's $250 PvE controversy, and the legendary PUBG "Game for Peace" where dead players sit up, wave goodbye, and hand you their crate. Then Nicky goes completely off the rails into a conspiracy about a shell company called Jiangsu Romagna bootlegging his digital brain, a trail that runs from Belgrade to a warehouse full of dormant arc machines in Easton, Pennsylvania. He's coughing up black gunk, the feds may or may not have killed him, and the building alarm is screaming. This is where the real shit begins.Trust no one on the surface. That's the golden rule.NICKY'S BODY COUNTBlack gunk coughed up: 4 gallonsTrigger nades to the exhaust pipe (metaphorical): 1Feds who failed to kill him: all of themLeapers compared to brainless casuals: 6Times "secure the bag" deployed: 9GPS trackers he wants ripped off compasses: 1 (with extreme prejudice)Rusted arc chassis threatened to be inserted into Toxic's ass: 1Queens AND Matriarchs spawning at once: 2 (one suicide pact)Bushwookie rats blamed for Tarkov head-eyes: countlessRussian scam artist developers told to jump in a lake: all of EFTPolite corpses that waved goodbye: untold thousands (Game for Peace)Shell companies bootlegging his brain: 1 (Jiangsu Romagna)Proxy IPs bounced through Belgrade: 1Blacked-out delivery trucks with no plates: 1Live feeds of his own apartment he didn't know existed: 1Steel security doors slammed shut behind him: 2Genres invented to blow your eardrums out: 1 (Rebar Snapping Gravel Gargle Asphalt Thrash)Mixing boards melted: 1Tencent Fu, Rebellion Incident Fu, Zero-Damage Fu, Red Snitch Icon Fu, Double King Fu, Bushwookie Fu, Game for Peace Fu, Wave Goodbye Fu, $250 Edition Fu, Jiangsu Romagna Fu, Belgrade Fu, Easton Pennsylvania Fu, Essential Oil Diffuser FuCHAPTERS(00:00) Cold Open / What Episode Are We Even On(04:44) Nicky's Back From The Dead (Sort Of)(06:56) The FBI Origin Story Rabbit Hole(09:52) THE NEWS: ARC Raiders Has a China Version(12:22) Earl Grey Explains the Tencent Empire(14:10) How China Re-Cuts Hollywood Movies(16:56) The Rebellion Incident Revealed(20:04) Nicky Reacts: "That's a Goddamn Play Date"(21:46) Opt-In PvP and the Red Snitch Icon(23:39) The Division Comparison(25:20) Nicky's GPS-Tracker Meltdown(30:08) Double King / Dual Boss — Queen + Matriarch(36:00) Other Games That Tried This: Tarkov(40:16) The $250 PvE Edition Scam(43:50) PUBG "Game for Peace" (They Wave Goodbye)(47:06) China's Content Restrictions Explained(49:08) The Player Count Doom Report(1:03:20) Nicky vs. Jiangsu Romagna (Part 1)(1:05:18) Easton, USA — This Week's Viewers(1:07:44) The Warehouse Cliffhanger(1:09:05) Wrap-Up & Outro Genre Drop
