Archdiocesan clergy assignments affect local parishes

Official Clergy Assignments announced in May by the Archdiocese of San Antonio affect some Catholic parishes in the Wilson County News coverage area. The assignments are effective July 1. Father Jordan Milligan will now be the pastor of St. Ann Catholic Church in La Vernia; he previously was the parish administrator. Father Rafael Lopez Negroni also transfers from administrator of Sacred Heart Church in Floresville to pastor. Father Thomas Olikunnel, HGN, will be the parish administrator of St. Luke Church in Loire and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Leming. Article Link
