from All Too Well

Are you there, God? It’s me, Alisa Vitti, and I’m about to blow your mind with the magic of hormone health.  Not only did Alisa drop half her body weight and manage her cystic acne, she went on to have a beautiful healthy baby at an “advanced maternal age.” We think the OB/GYN industry needs to come up with a SLIGHTLY nicer way to refer to women over the age of 35. C'mon people. Alisa got all hormonal on us and blew our perimenopausal minds while explaining how to optimize sex, sleep and productivity just from tracking your period. Who knew Aunt Flo's been holding out?! Alisa confirmed that YES, MEN DO GET PMS! We felt like that explained a lot. Period. She gives us a proper vocab lesson and we learn words like chick-tionary and cycle-sync, and…manopause. (Just kidding, that last one isn’t a real word yet, but we’re working on it ‘cuz Grampa seems reaaaal grumpy lately.) She also shared her secrets for the ideal foods and exercise programs you should be doing based on where you are in your cycle. Hint--some days it involves throwing on some leggings and tucking into Netflix... And most importantly--let's stop with the period shaming. Alisa wants young girls to stop with the whole tampon-up-your-sleeve trick and actually learn to embrace and even celebrate this monthly milestone. Sign us up, we'll take any excuse to throw a party. https://www.floliving.com/https://myflotracker.com/https://www.facebook.com/FloLiving@floliving
