from The Nick Bare Podcast · host Nick Bare

Tennessee native and Myrtle Beach Marathon winner Ken Rideout joins Nick today to talk about growing up hustling, mental toughness, and his athletic career. Ken is an advocate of “The Fight.” Growing up in a working class, inner city neighborhood, sports became Ken’s escape. As an endurance athlete, he approaches every event with a fighter mindset, going to battle with himself. At the age of 50, Ken is running faster than he ever has before. Finishing the Myrtle Beach Marathon in 2:30, The London Marathon in 2:29, and The New York Marathon in 2:33, Ken is driven and determined to finish every event he competes with nothing left in the tank, making sure to give his every last ounce of effort.
