Standard was set up through the acquisition of five critical suppliers: Standard Elevator Systems (SES) of Memphis, Tennessee; EMI Porta (EMI) of Arlington Heights, Illinois; ZZIPCO of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey; Texacone of Mesquite, Texas; and Elevator Equipment Co.
