Arden’s Garden Talks Cold-Pressed Juice

Today, Arden's Garden is a thriving family-owned business that offers a variety of cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and other plant-based products. Leslie is now on a mission to make healthier living accessible and affordable to all, and is passionate about promoting the benefits of juicing and adopting a plant-based lifestyle. After a complete turnaround from her young adult life and walking her truth, Leslie is now living the healthiest life possible. She strictly follows a plant-based diet, ensuring she gets a regular dose of exercise alongside some Yoga to keep her mind and body in tip-top shape. At the tender age 13, young and curious Leslie started experimenting with a variety of recreational substances such as marijuana and alcohol. Unfortunately for Leslie, her envoy in drugs quickly escalated into more alarming territories, eventually diving into more dangerous concoctions such as cocaine. Though she stayed sober for a while, the craving for drugs proved to be too much eventually leading her to relapse. After hitting rock bottom, her father came to her aid, looking for treatment which led her to the NJ Alina Lodge where she sought treatment for her addiction. At the age of 20, she attended a short-term, 30-day, in-patient treatment, but was eventually moved to a long-term 3-month stay in the facility. She ended up staying in the facility for 11 months, soon moving on to a halfway house for 6 more months to help her bounce back and readjust to everyday life. Following her journey toward rehabilitation, she stayed for one last year in New Jersey, eventually coming back to Atlanta. Since then, she has been completely sober. During her path to recovery, Leslie discovered the many benefits of juicing and having a plant-based lifestyle firsthand from her mother and witnessed her mom building Arden’s Garden. After years of following the footsteps and influence of her mother, Arden’s Garden was passed on to Leslie, letting her manage the business and continue operating as an oasis of health in food deserts. Now she has her own family to nurture and care for. Following a healthy lifestyle, she gave birth to 4 beautiful children later in her life, without any need for medical intervention. Similar to her mother, Arden, Leslie continues to positively influence her family to share a passion for fitness and nutrition. Her daughter, Delaney, also had personal struggles with health, afflicted with morbid obesity. Inspired by her mother and grandmother, Delaney also found a passion for sports, fitness and has already adopted a plant-based lifestyle. Since finding her way back to health, she’s lost over 150 pounds and is still on the road to becoming more fit.
