Andrew D. Basiago is an American lawyer, writer, and controversial figure in the UFO and disclosure community, best known for claiming involvement in alleged secret U.S. government time-travel and teleportation programs. Basiago states that as a child in the late 1960s and early 1970s, he participated in DARPA’s supposed “Project Pegasus,” where he claims children were used in experiments involving teleportation, chronovision, and time travel. He later became known in alternative research circles for asserting that the U.S. government had secretly developed advanced technologies decades ago, including teleportation to Mars.  Basiago holds multiple academic degrees, including a history degree from University of California, Los Angeles and a Master of Philosophy degree from University of Cambridge. Professionally, he has worked as an attorney and environmental policy scholar. In addition to his legal career, he founded the Mars Anomaly Research Society, promoting claims of life on Mars and government secrecy surrounding extraterrestrial discoveries.  Within paranormal and conspiracy communities, Basiago became a recurring guest on programs such as Coast to Coast AM, where he discussed alleged government “jump room” technology, teleportation, and Mars exploration missions. His claims have never been verified by mainstream science, DARPA, NASA, or any official government source, and they are widely regarded by skeptics as unsubstantiated.
