Are Cold Showers Really Worth It?

from Profit Your Knowledge · host James Allen

You could be making 10x your income simply by taking cold showers! I know they're uncomfortable but that's why they work. Successful people are willing to be uncomfortable in the interest of growth. Putting yourself in an uncomfortable situation consistently and coming out on top is exactly what is going to bring you to your next level. Taking cold showers doesn't ever get easy but here's what you're missing out on. Benefits of cold showers: - A higher level of alertness - More robust immune response - Increased willpower - Even weight loss And so much more All for under 10 minutes of discomfort each week. So how can cold showers actually 10x your income? Because there are tasks you know you could be doing to grow your business but they're uncomfortable so you don't stay consistent with them. By throwing yourself in a cold shower first thing in the morning, you get used to putting yourself in an uncomfortable situation which leads to your resiliency in other areas of your life. Those tasks become easier because you've trained your brain to go straight into what's uncomfortable. IMPORTANT TIP: Take a cold shower for about a minute or so and then warm yourself up. You don't have to spend an hour in the cold water or anything. Just enough to fully cool your body then the warm water is your reward. By doing this, you know that after the discomfort you'll get rewarded. After you make the calls you know you should be making, sending the message you know you should be sending, talking to the person you'd love to talk to, etc. Reward yourself! I guarantee that by actually trying this consistently those tasks will get so much easier. Try taking cold showers every morning for a week and see what happens in your life.
