I will refer to this New Year as the calendar new year because if we follow the rhythms of nature, the true new year would be the Spring equinox. Based on that, I want to talk about how sometimes resolutions become more of a pressure and expectation that we end up falling short of, and which therefore leaves us feeling rather shitty, rather than setting intentions that truly support our growth. Also, if we’re not in tune or in harmony with the rhythms of nature, we might be expecting ourselves to do something which the energy simply isn’t there to support us in, because this is a time of gestation. We are planting seeds that will emerge into the world in Spring when life rebirths itself, but for now, the attention is really on creating nourishing soil for the those seeds to eventually grow out of. It’s an inward time. A more yin rather than yang energy. So this podcast is an invitation to tune into yourself and really take care and pay attention to your deeper needs. Just because something is done a certain way in society doesn’t mean it’s right for you or that it’s right in general. Listen to you! The guidance you need is there. Tune in for more… Loving you from afar, Corinne
