Are The “Barbarians" Already Here?

The parallels between the fall of the Roman Empire and the current state of the American Empire are many — overextended military, crushing debt, endless wars, debased money, a cornucopia of corruption, delusions of grandeur, bread & circuses, and a downward spiral in morality. Today on the Liberty Report we discuss another parallel with Rome, the invasions of the “barbarians.” Also, on the upside, after the fall of Rome, there was a great decentralization. With the centralized boot of empire removed from the necks of the people, society could breathe again.
