-When we looked at the schedule before the season, a 7-0 start seemed possible—though we didn’t predict it---but that was due to the fact that we thought Nebraska would be favored to win all 7 games-The Illinois loss happened to change that narrative, but the Huskers bounced back with an 18-point win over Purdue. Now, Nebraska is a 6.5 point favorite vs. Rutgers and unclear of the spread vs. Indiana-The reason to say these are the 2 most important games is if you win them both, you enter your final 5 games already bowl-eligible and seeing how far you can go.
