Are the Phantom Candidates scared to be on the radio?
from KELY 1230AM/98.5 FM News and Commentary · host Wyatt Cox
Over the last week, we’ve had three of the seven opposed candidates on the White Pine County ballot in November in short interviews to ask for your vote and introduce them to you. Melody Van Camp, Doug Saunders, and Stephen Bishop took the time to talk to you. But their opponents, Dean Reynolds, Bodie Golla, George Chachas, and Tim Pauley never responded to our written and mailed invitation to speak to you through our station. Now, it’s possible that the Postal Service never delivered the letter, which begs the question of how the Post Office will handle your mailed ballot. But it’s likely they just didn’t feel like talking to me. In which case, it begs the question, if they won’t talk to me and you before the election, what makes you think as a public servant that they’ll talk to you?
