In the past year Ken had moved to Atlanta and since Sarah was driving through, this was the perfect opportunity to learn more about what Ken’s job entails.The two friends sat down to discuss how Ken got his start as a sound engineer, how someone builds connections with this type of work, the difference between a producer and an engineer, and how Ken navigates billing his projects and re-evaluating the value of his time. ABOUT OUR GUEST: Ken Oriole is a Grammy winning recording engineer who has teamed up with many of the top artists and producers in the industry, and has worked at some of the world’s most renowned studios. Ken is known for his vast technical expertise, musical comprehension, and almost two decades of experience working across multiple genres and in a variety of roles.After relocating to New York in 2017, he branched out to new artists and genres.
