In the dead of night, as people sleep, that's when the spirits creep. As the bell tolls three, dark things take power. We like to call it the supernatural hour. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages.
Hurry, hurry, step right up and witness the greatest spectacle of all time. We like to call it the supernatural hour. Hey, I am your host, Castle. I am your other host, Beaker.
And we are here hosting... Hostess, donuts. Donuts. Yes, I ate my coffee, where's yours?
Um, you know, I actually brought the red lines that we're supposed to take to family tree that we forgot that some of our listeners will be aware of. We had to lower ourselves to eat Twizzlers for that particular adventure. I didn't eat either one of those because Lickrish is disgusting. That is not true.
Says you. Lickrish is a little bit of... Alright, especially the red lines. Um, so...
You... We are here. I am your host, Castle. We have got Beaker, Tim.
Tim, the stone whisperer. How many times are we going to introduce ourselves? I don't know. Lots.
Let's go for our hat trick. Nice, kid. Hey, we are here. We are actually doing a different show with a little bit of a format.
And again, there's just the two of us tonight. Um, we've kind of been getting some feedback and we've been asked to reduce the number of hosts because we've had too many. And we've been aware of it. We walk all over each other when we're talking sometimes and it gets hard to stay on topic and just the shows go really long sometimes when you get six people giving feedback.
So we're in the process of trying to figure out the best combination of hosts and hosts to get our show right where we want it. Um, so we're trying to decide and we kind of need input from everybody as far as what you guys think, what you guys like, if there's hosts that you really must have to make the show work for you, if there's hosts that really must go. Um, give us some feedback. We want to hear from you guys.
I know we did our poll. Probably what we do back in October. So you have a form to go. Yeah, we got some feedback there.
But again, we kind of want to hear from you guys to know what direction you guys want us to go. Um, south for the winter, the swarm. South south because I give a say south two times Vegas. Ooh, let's just move to Vegas.
We'll do this show from there. Doing show from Vegas. Yeah. We'll record live in front of a live studio audience recording from the craps table at the Chris Angel Theatre at the Luxor.
So let's talk business. Tim, you were in charge of business. Next. Yes, business.
So last episode I told you I didn't have anything to talk about this episode. I have gone ahead and scheduled us another public event that will be coming up at the end of March. We're using our 100th episode that we did as our February investigation. So we've already done that one was the family tree again.
Like we go there quite a bit just because it's awesome. So next month we are doing one that we've done in the past in the summertime and everyone complains it's too hot. So we're doing it at the end of March, beginning of April. Hopefully the weather will be perfect for us to be at this venue because it is it's an indoor venue, but there's no heating or air conditioning.
So we are actually going back to the fear factory. It's March. It's going to be too hot or too cold. But I doubt it's going to be just dry.
We don't know. But I doubt it's going to be like, you know, 100 degrees hot like it is in June, but it's not going to be like, you know, 30 degrees cold like it is in the wintertime. So although it is March and you taught it right? Well, maybe either of those.
I mean, we could honestly quite we could quite honestly get all four seasons on that day. We've seen that here in Utah before where we've had bright, clear sunshine and then all of a sudden it turns into like fall weather where like leaves are falling on the ground to rain and then it's no. Fear factory is an interesting venue. I actually have had some good experiences of fear factory.
We've had a I like to say the same, but every time I book that venue, I'm at work. That's true. I don't know if I've ever missed you. I have a fear factory with you.
One's actually. Oh, that's right. I remember you tried to go across the catwalk. The catwalk and I started crying like a little baby because I'm afraid of heights.
You know, I got to say it's kind of interesting because it wasn't just you and Lurch. Yeah, Lurch was pretty scared too. The cat's still doing cartwheels across it and the rest of the team is all carrying on the other end. You've got to think though.
I mean, this thing, this catwalk, first off is they've taken out to the metal plating on the bottom and replaced it with, I mean, there's metal grating at the see through and there's you know, it's sturdy plastic or not plastic. They've got sturdy plastic that you walk across. They've got, it's a sturdy platform. You're totally safe.
But for me, the problem is you're like four or five stories up in the air and you can see the ground below you. And you can see that really though, I think keeping up is a little bit of metal great, which is plenty sturdy, but it makes you think way more than you probably would. When you're six, five and about 300 pounds, you're like, I'm just going to crash right through this. Hey, when you're five, 10 and 220 pounds, you think I'm going to crash right through this.
Anyway, for factories, a fantastic location. We've had audible footsteps there. Got some fantastic EVPs. You got your head rubbed there, didn't you?
I got my head rubbed. The top of the one that has the brain in it. Yes. And we're seeing a lot of time we've gone through a factory.
A lot of really interesting history there, and it's a huge venue. In fact, it's not uncommon when we get in there that we kind of lose our teams a little bit. You have to kind of wander through and like, hey, we're Tingo, am I seeing two? Well, I mean, it's a big old cement factory.
And there is several different buildings we get access to. So it's fairly easy to lose the group. Including the catacomb tunnels underneath the cement factory, which there's usually voices and stuff heard down there. So yeah, it's really easy to lose all the groups.
And we, like all our investigations, we don't overbook it. We're going to book the shit out of this one. Four hundred people. That'd be fantastic.
We had a venue big enough to support 400 people and could get 400 people by tickets to the event. Now, we'll do what we usually do, which is we'll sell it to an extent that's reasonable for you guys. And this one's one where in reality we're going to wait under sell it for how big venue is. I've seen- You could easily have 50 people there and probably still not run into anybody.
I actually think when a Comic Con actually booked that venue four or five years ago, and I want to say they booked in like 150 people. And it was still fairly reasonable, but we're not going to do that many. We're not going to be even close to that many. But look for the tickets at eventsprinormal.com.
They should be going up this week. If they're not up on this episode, it should be at the end of the week. Again, eventsprinormal.com for your fear factory tickets. So Tim, tell us about our last investigation, the 100th episode recording.
Okay, so- Or at least tell us about the dinner part. The dinner is delicious. I get made fun of because apparently I've convinced everybody that goes to the restaurant to order just the cheeseburger. And they thought it was hilarious because I think half of us, they were there.
There's like maybe 25 of us. I think like half of the- between the listeners and the investigators ordered the cheeseburger. And the main reason why I ordered this particular item is because they make their buns fresh their restaurant. And they are phenomenal.
So the bread that they use is just really good. The burger itself, the meat goods, the all of us is good. They have other food items on them and everything there. It's like everything I've had, I've really enjoyed.
But there's something about those buns on those cheeseburgers I find just really delicious. You know, I actually went with the Gator, which has the exact same bun, but it's got like roast beef on it and sauteed onions. And they had some argyo dipping sauce. It was phenomenal.
I've had the burger, the cheeseburger is phenomenal, but the Gator was even better. I should have to try that next time. It was really fun because we kind of- we set up in a way where we had each one of the investigators, some from the team, were sitting with the take-a-holders. So we actually got a chance to kind of mingle and get to know all of you guys before we recorded the show, which is something we're trying to do more often on our investigations.
We're trying to get the- we're getting to know the people that were bringing on our investigations. So we're trying to make you guys feel welcome. We're trying to have- make sure you have a good time so you're going to want to keep coming back and spending time with us. We're not doing this because we're just trying to collect money.
We're doing it because honestly we enjoy helping people in all sorts of aspects and bringing some fun or scares or whatever you're looking for on an investigation. That's why we're doing it. We're doing it for you guys. Yeah, and it was a fun event.
There was a great division among our listeners and our staff as far as which confectionary item was better. Twizzlers or red vines? Oh, I love it. They're both crap.
Deanna's hardcore in the Twizzlers camp. I'm hardcore in the red vines camp. All the Twizzlers are edible if you like eating plastic. They're all plastic.
Oh, no, they're not. Let me see, ingredients. Plastic. Anyway, corn syrup is the number one ingredient.
Castle may have forgot to bring the red vines to the venue, but we had a lot of twizzlers were brought to the venue. So in making up for that tonight we've got the bucket of red vines here at the recording. Yes. So I'm going to give us so enjoying nobody.
And so since Tim doesn't like them, I guess I'm going to have to just buck up and eat the whole bucket by myself. That sounds like not something you should do. I'll thank you for that advisement. Yeah, I'm going to phone call at three in the morning because you're barfing.
It was still okay. I'm not sure why. The whole bucket of red vines is gone though. My pancreas will be crying for help.
Oh, geez. So that investigation now, Tim had to leave early. Yeah, I skipped the first half of my shift so I could go to the investigation. Which the show turned out really well.
It was kind of brutal though. I felt bad. We didn't get to everybody's questions that we wasn't like to have done. This is kind of part of the reason why we're also thinking about cutting back the number of posts just because we get one question and it takes a half an hour for us to answer it because there's six people wanting to weigh in on it.
So what we have talked about in the meantime, if you do have a question for us, you can email us at Tim at wis.org or castle wisps.org and we'll answer your questions on the show. There's nothing to, there's nothing that you don't be afraid that we're going to think you're crazy or... There's no stupid questions. Yeah.
If you just want to ask us and just ask us and just have us respond to the email, that's fine too. If you don't want it on the show, let us know and we won't talk about it on the show. But we have decided in another 50 episodes, we're not going to wait until 200. We're going to do it for episode 150.
We are going to do the same thing. We're going to have a live audience and do another ask me anything type session. And we may do the same venue, we may choose another venue, we haven't decided yet. We're 49 episodes out.
Yeah, and with us recording every other week, that's probably going to be like two years down the road. And there may be a possibility by the way that we may increase our how often we record. That's also in the works as well. There's a very good chance that Supernatural Hour might go weekly.
A weekly or at least a special episode every other week. We'll start a Patreon. If you give us $5, you'll get a bonus episode every other week. So that is in the works by the way.
So let's talk about the investigation a little bit. I know that you had to leave. I heard stuff about it, but I wasn't actually there so I don't really have much to weigh in on. You know what you heard about?
I don't know what you heard about it. I heard that you were afraid of me. I was afraid of you? Yes.
I heard you follow peaches around like a lost puppy dog because you're afraid I'm going to beat you up if anything happened back to her. This is true. That's how I'm talking about it. Family Tree is notorious for having things happen to a guest.
It's very rare that we don't have a guest who gets attacked on some level. I hesitate to use word attacks. That sounds so tacky. It's not really an attack.
It's more of a... You just don't feel yourself. It's kind of a psychic attack. You just kind of feel weird.
You feel lightheaded. And some people get affected worse than others, but it almost always happens. And it almost always happens to peaches. At least it hasn't passed.
She's actually been pretty good last year investigation. She's gotten better at protecting herself. We've learned some information from our friend Jimmy Darling as to why things like that were happening. She's aware of what's going on now so she's able to protect herself a lot better.
But I'm used to one of my family tree having Tim there because he's like the early warning alarm radar. Like you'll be somewhere in Tim Welcome Down. What's going on? The next thing we know, things are going to shit my French.
You've lost without me. You're like, I don't know what to do with that. You're there. I was like, we go to investigations all the time together, but we literally never investigate together.
But it's weird not having one or the other there. It is. Those two investigations I did last month without you there. It was kind of awkward.
Yeah. So I was like, oh, who's going to be the early warning system if Tim's not here. But peaches actually didn't have anything happen to her. It's weird without Tim.
But as far as the investigation, we had a lot of activity. Mike Finley was there and was just getting crazy activity as dowsing rods. It's kind of interesting because I was asking a lot of the questions and my friends holding the dowsing rods and they were just doing their thing, which is interesting because for me, dowsing rods are worthless. I hold dowsing rods in my hand.
Don't say that. For you, they are. They're actually a really great investigation tool. That's what I meant.
It's for me. Like when I hold dowsing rods, they just don't work for me. Well, and it's true. Like when it comes to investigating tools, there's certain things that work for people that don't work for other people.
And what I noticed with you, that goes to me to pro is like, I've seen it just randomly spit out answers that aren't really anything. But for you when you're using that thing, they love to respond to you on that. Oh yeah. I say that goes to me to pro.
I get all kinds of stuff out of goes to me to pro. But like you said, I've seen other people use it. I'm like, yeah, you're just getting crap. And Mike with the dowsing rods.
That guy is like a dowsing rod wizard. And I've seen other people who are amazing with the dowsing rods too. But anyway, so Mike had the dowsing rods asking the questions and it was kind of interesting the answers we were getting. There's a little girl there named Kimber who was giving us a lot of activity.
He had flashlights there. And I usually don't get a ton of flashlight activity. But this particular night, we're getting a lot of flashlight activity. We also had a lot going on downstairs in the basement with Lucy.
People were hearing like noises down in the basement. Some people were seeing some orbs. Just overall, it was a good night. I mean, it wasn't like people running up the walls and...
Well, didn't someone actually... I think it was Mike actually told me he thinks he saw her with his own eyes, like not in a picture or anything. Oh yeah, I've forgotten all about that. Yeah, I believe he said that he had seen her.
And then what was interesting too is we took that picture that you have of Lucy and we're showing it around the venue. And a lot more people were picking up on the eyes and the face that we had kind of missed for what, four years. Well, you know, what's funny is it's like, after Corey pointed that out to me, it's like, I remember having seen that before. But it was like the memory of me saying it was kind of like blocked out until Corey pointed out again.
I'm sitting there like, I know I've seen this before. But I couldn't remember having seen it before, if that makes sense. And so most people, when they look at Facebook or stuff like that, because that's where we have the picture post, you're on your phone. It's not very big.
Mike actually had his laptop there and had a bigger picture of it. And like, you didn't even have to zoom in on the picture on the laptop. Like, you could see the face in that shadowy mass. By the way, I have to cut it and apologize to all our listeners because I put that up on the internet.
And the picture I had was like 56 kilobytes, which is about the size of a postage stamp. And if I try to blow it up, it looked terrible, which is why I didn't get that posted, by the way. But it is on our Facebook page, on the advanced paranormal page and the Wisp Facebook page. So it wasn't for lack of effort on my part that I told you I was going to do it and I didn't immediately make it up.
It was the version I had was like 56 kilobytes, which is not very big for those who are familiar pictures. All right. So that was our family tree investigation. Let's talk Stone of the Week.
Okay. What do you got for us, Tim? I've got a piece of paper. Piper.
It's a week we're talking about paper and what it can do for you. It can hold information and you can pass it to other people and you can do that information to them, sometimes in books, sometimes in notes. But really, what we have this week is that if you're feeling in the need of grounding or balancing in your life, you might actually be drawn to this week's stone, which is hematite or hematite. It's pronounced both ways.
I like hematite. Hematite hematite. Either way, it's the correct way. Which is funny because this actually rounds out my list of the top five protection stones that I suggested people when they're going on investigations.
The funny thing about this particular stone is I actually went to a gym fair recently, met some people that we know from another team that are friends of ours. And I explained to them the last hematite bracelet they gave me broke and I lost it. And so they were nice enough to actually give me another one which I'm wearing right now. Hematite is a shiny dark colored stone found all over the world.
It has made a mainly iron which gives it its metallic sheen. Although the hematite that we see in our daily lives is dark gray, its name comes from a Latin phrase meaning bloodstone. This is because when it is found naturally, the iron content is covered in rust. Well, that makes sense.
So in ancient Rome, hematite was a popular stone for decorative purposes. Jewelry, weapons and even armor were decorated with hematite and were traded widely. The dark color was thought to be especially intimidating or protective. Hematite stones are opaque.
They're not the strongest of stones and they have a strong metallic luster. For a minute when you said weapons are fake and they made weapons, I said it would be some crazy crap weapons because it's really cool. They would have broke. No, they were in the like the hilt.
Like gemstones? Yeah. It was decorative. And it's funny because it says they thought to be intimidating and protective because hematite is still thought to be as a protective stone nowadays.
When they are found in nature, they will be rough and red. But once they are polished, it takes on a beautiful mirror like sheen, which makes it extremely popular in semi-precious jewelry, which is why I have a bracelet and you can find them in necklaces and rings all over the place. One thing that's interesting about hematite too is if you go to any gift store, I like to go to Yellowstone and there's always gift stores there. Any gift store that has any kind of stones?
I'm sure they have a hematite ring that you can buy. There's always like piles of hematite, magnatite, which is actually a magnatite version of hematite. But yeah, hematite is really easy to find. Just like Amethyst, the stones energy is earthy.
And it is one of the best stones that you can use to harness the power of the element of earth to lend you strength and dispel negativity. As soon as hematite touches the skin, you'll feel more centered and calm with its intense but subtle vibrations. Hematite crystal properties are a gem when it comes to clearing and activating the root chakra. The energy that the energy center that anchors us to the earth improvises a feeling of stability.
The hematite crystal meaning is linked with its ability to absorb any toxic emotions holding you back from your natural state of joy and vitality. You want to use hematite in your crystal healing kit to clear away negative feelings from stress, anxiety and worry. The hematite crystal works to pull any stray negative energy into the aura to the root chakra, where it neutralizes its harmful effects by balancing and aligning all seven chakras. This explains why hematite is one of the best root chakra stones.
You can stay zan in our hectic world with hematite crystal healing properties and their ability to enhance confidence and strengthen times of turmoil. According to legend, the hematite crystal was used as a powerful talisman for warriors in the north of England because it is believed to be preserved to the blood or life essence of a fallen soldier wounded in battle. Your problems might not be as serious as a Viking and Maronners second village, but hematite gives you a boost of vigor when you rejoin the hectic pace of the modern world. He can give you a vigor.
It gives you a vigor. It's like medieval vagra. Yes, so if you are wanting to go and storm the castle, make sure you take hematite. No, hematite I've also been told that is a very protective stone, which is why I suggest this on investigations.
I've been told that it also helps block and possibly reverse curses. If curses are put on you by whether it's human or non-human spirits or people, like living people, they can actually send those back to where they came from. Excellent. So let's get into our weird news.
And if we haven't told you yet, our show tonight is going to be about the aliens. The aliens. Nope, this is the first that we mentioned it. So we're branching out a little bit because we are the supernatural hour.
We're going to dive into some other stuff along the lines of like Christology and other fun topics. Yeah, we'll still be talking ghosts and spirits and demons and paranormal. But we are going to branch out a little bit into serial killers like we did at the Jack of Ripper from time to time, cryptozoology aliens. We're talking about the aliens.
I do have a list on my iPad. We have taken suggestions and added them to the list. So if there is something that you want to hear about, please let us know and we'll add it to the list. That may have been touched.
You know what might be good idea at the list? Nostradamus. That could be an interesting topic. I'll put it on the list.
So we're going to talk aliens tonight. But before we do, let's get to our. I'll talk aliens. Yeah.
Aliens. All right. Time for weird paranormal news. Okay.
So for those who live in Utah, which is where we're based out of, we have three earthquakes in Bluffdale over the weekend plus an earthquake in Fillmore, which is kind of what inspired this particular story. You know, it's funny. Before I get started, my HR manager was at work yesterday and she told me about the earthquakes and she thought it was something paranormal happening in her house. She was actually that scared that she thought there was something in her house.
But Mrs. Castle actually woke up at four in the morning because she sleeps horribly and sent me text messages. Hey, I can't sleep. Next thing I know, I get a text message saying, hey, I think we should have an earthquake or the tree in the backyard, blew into the house and I'll be damned if I didn't look up and we'd have an earthquake.
And we actually don't live very far from the episode or that particular earthquake. Anyway, so earthquake warning, huge megathymus strike is predicted by the end of February. So planetary alignment beginning on Valentine's Day has some earthquake forecasters on high alert as they believe a massive megathresh tremor is on its way. Uranus, Mars, Venus and the sun are all said to be tugging on the earth, combining to unleash a huge tremor.
They'll have a gravitational tug of war across our solar system and pull from all sides on our sectonic flights. The forecast was made by New Age earthquake prediction website, the training run by researcher Frank Huggertbeats. I'm not making that up. Huggertbeats?
Huggertbeats. Okay. Doctor Huggertbeats. Yes, sir, I am Mr.
Huggertbeats. Huggertbeats said and I quote, critical lunar geometry later on the 10th and early 11th has a potential of triggering large seismic activity possibly into the 6th magnitude range perhaps even higher. Overall the second half of February starting around the 14th is going to be very critical with a potential megathresh earthquake between the 20th and the 28th, which is just in a few days. Or screwed.
The Dutch researcher, Dr. Huggertbeats, said that his research, he reached his conclusion using the solar system geometry index, which is the compilation of a data sheet of specific time frame of values given to specific geometric positions of the planets, the moon and the sun. Science. Mm, pseudoscience.
He said after three years of observations that he became clear that some planetary geometry in the solar system clearly tends to cause a seismic increase while other geometry does not. I just want to say real quick, when you say pseudoscience and you kind of make fun of it, what we do could also be considering pseudoscience just saying. Don't let people in on that, Tim. Oh, it's a secret.
Sorry. Wait, what's actual science? It's legit. But experts have consistently rejected Mr.
Huggertbeats claims saying there's no way earthquakes can be predicted. John Berlini, a geophysicist in the USG graphical survey, USGS, says we can't predict or forecast earthquakes. Sometimes we have a four-shocker, but we don't know. The four shocks until the big one happens.
So basically, Mr. Huggertbeats, Dr. Huggertbeats, air Huggertbeats, whatever you want to call him. He's found dreamy.
He thinks there's going to be a massive earthquake here at the end of the bump. That's not the same dude that keeps predicting their afters going to happen like every seven years. I think that's Uncle Ted. So that's our first story.
That one seemed to have a real event considering that we're based here out of Utah and just a couple miles away, we were at the epicenter of a 3.7 earthquake. My next one though is related more to the aliens. Okay, NASA cover up, a shock after fossil found in Mars. Images taken from NASA's Martian rover show it looks like an eerily long bone from the ground, which the vehicle had just run over.
The bone looks especially like a human femur or thigh bone buried in Mars red dust. We can spare a seat there so now we've now intentionally tried to run it over to destroy and attempt to keep the secret under wraps. I'm sorry, if they were trying to keep it under wraps, they wouldn't have released this information. It's not like you have access.
Can you access this robot from your home computer? You can't from your home. Well, it's okay. I'm just saying the average person can they look up at what they're seeing?
I don't think so. If NASA only has access to this camera, if they really wanted to be able to not know about it, they would have just kept a shock from the first place. It's like NASA sucks at cover ups. We never went to the moon.
Proment alien hunter, Scott C. Waring was the first to pick up on the supposed bone and has called NASA out for apparently being hypocritical. Mr. Waring wrote on his blog, UnifosideingsDaily, and I quote, I found this fossilized bone on Mars this week and has been run over by the Mars rover.
Now scientists at NASA often say I'll care for their not to hurt or destroy their chances of finding white on Mars. And yet we see the evidence of the rover's tire marks trending over the ancient fossil as if it were nothing. But since it is Mars, NASA makes it into their personal road driving over and ignoring any real evidence of life on Mars. You know, like NASA's using the rovers like a dune buggy.
Well, that's the R. Hold my bear watch. I mean, it's like rich people that don't have to drive four wheelers in the sand dunes. The rover up on two wheels?
Yeah, they take, they shoot this. They spend all this absorbent amount of money to shoot something in space that takes eight months to get there just so they can go four wheeling. The world's most expensive radio controlled car. Right.
So this is not the first time a parent fossil's been found on Mars. Another recent finding was that of a large black rock, which is supposedly such strong evidence of alien life that NASA was accused of misleting the public. Mr. Waring also wrote on his blog.
While looking at the front page of the Mars Science Laboratory website, I know that they placed a photo of a huge black fossil right on the freaking front page. Now could anyone who has any experience that ancient fossils and artifacts have even possibly missed that? NASA really doesn't care about finding life or proving that life once exists on other planets. They only want to defeat the public, boring science facts to satisfy the public curiosity.
It's called the trickle down three and NASA has perfected it. You know, I kind of get the impression that Mr. Waring has got some really repressed angst against NASA. I wonder if at one point in time he actually tried to work for NASA and they turned him down.
They turned him down. They're on the freaking front page. I can't believe they saw that link when they ran over at the Mars rover to hide it. So that black rock right there, that's proof that there's life on Mars.
Now NASA has responded to Mr. Waring and here was NASA's response and I'm actually really surprised that they took the time and effort. NASA says that the fossil and other similar findings are just the effects of paradolia, which we've talked about in this show, which is a psychological effect of the human brain trying to make sense of things by attributing features to it, i.e. when you look at a cloud and you see a face or you look at a rock on Mars and say it looks like a leg bone.
NASA is basically saying that Mr. Waring's fossils are just purely paradolia. Give the pictures. Let me see those.
I do. And the pictures can be found on the Internet. Look it up. They're online.
Online stuff. So what do you think? I mean, you're seeing the pictures? They just look like sandstone.
Right. That doesn't look like the white. Yeah, it's not a bone. In my opinion.
One looks like a rock and the other one looks like a rock. Well, you got this. Yeah, it just looks like the rest of the rocks here that are on the ground. They both look just like rocks.
Yeah, one's kind of long. I can see where he's getting the paradolia as it looking like a leg, but the shape's all wrong. If it's a leg, it's a deformed leg. Yeah.
Well, you know, alien species have different body structures than ours. I just can't believe that NASA's just running over stuff just running over like Mars is our own road. Right. Well, I'm pretty sure if there was some kind of like civilization on Mars, we probably would have found it by now.
Let's talk about the five most credible alien sightings. Tim, do you want to start us out with number one? Sure. I do, maybe.
So apparently this happened in 2001. There were some lights above the New Jersey Turnpike. I guess it takes a lot for motorists to stop along the highway to look toward the sky. But on July 14, 2001, drivers on the New Jersey Turnpike did just that.
Around 15 minutes just after midnight, they marveled at the sight of a strange orange and yellow light in the V formation over the Arthur Kiel at Waterway between Staten Island, New York and Carderette, New Jersey. The Carderette Police Department, Lieutenant Daniel Tarritt was one of the witnesses as well as other metro area residents from the Throg's Neck Bridge on Long Island and Fort Lee, New Jersey near the Georgia, Georgia, you know, George Washington Bridge. The Georgia Washington Bridge? The Georgia Washington Bridge.
The Georgia Washington Bridge. He wrote a boat across the Delaware. Air traffic controllers initially denied that any airplanes, military jets or space flights could have caused the mysterious lights, but a group known as the New York Strange Phenomena investigators claimed to receive FFA radar data that cooperated the UFO sightings from that night. All right.
What have we got for number two? I have to share this paper with you. Yes. Oh, okay.
Sorry, this particular topic consists of copious notes. Yes. So number two, the USS Nimitz encounter. On November 4, 2014, the aircraft carrier USS Princeton noted an unknown aircraft on the radar 100 miles out the coast of San Diego.
For two weeks, the crew had been tracking objects that appeared at 8,000 feet and then plummeted to hover right above the Pacific Ocean. Pacific? Pacific Ocean. We are on a roll tonight.
That's actually every episode. We just don't know how to talk. We're professional podcasters and I use the term professional very loosely. I use the term podcast very loosely.
We're two dudes that sit in the kitchen and talk on a microphone. When two F-A-18F fighter jets from the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz arrived in the area, they were saw by a pair to be churning boiling water in a noble shape underneath the surface. Then in a few moments, a white tic-tac shaped object appeared over the water. And no visible marking indicate engine wings or windows and infrared monitors didn't reveal any exhaust.
Commander David Ferever and Lieutenant Commander Jim Sleight of Strike Fighter Squadron 41 attempted to intercept the craft but as saw right away, repairing on radar 60 miles away and moved three times the speed of sound and twice the speed of the fighter jets. I am often afraid of those flying tic-tacs. So this one happened in 2006. That was the Air O'Hare International Airport Saucer.
Flight 446 was getting ready to fly to North Carolina from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport when a United Airlines employee on the Tarmac noticed a dark grey metallic craft hovering over Gate C-17. That day, November 7, 2006 was a total of 12 United employees and a few witnesses outside the airport spotted the saucer shaped craft around 4.15 pm. The witnesses say it had hovered for about five minutes before shooting upward where it broke a hole in the clouds enough the pilots and mechanics could see the blue sky. The news report became the most red story on the Chicago Tribune's website to that date that made international news.
However, because the UFO was not seen on radar, the FAA called it a weather phenomenon and declined to investigate. How big does a saucer need to be to punch through the clouds and leave blue sky behind? Probably as big as a plane. That one to me is a little suspicious because I've been on planes and flown through clouds and the planes just go into the clouds.
It seems like it would be pretty massive to... I mean, they shot straight upwards at a speed probably really fast. Alright, so the fourth most credible UFO sighting happened in 2008 is called the Stevensville sighting. The small town of Stevensville, Texas, 100 miles south of Dallas is mostly known for its dairy farms, but on the evening of January 8th, 2008, dozens of his residents viewed something unique in the sky.
Citizens reported seeing white lights above highway 67, first in a single horizontal arc and then in vertical parallel lines. Local pilot Steve Allen estimated that the strobe lights spanned about a mile long and half mile wide, traveling about 3,000 miles per hour. No sound was reported. Witnesses believed the event was reminiscent of the Phoenix lights sighting of 1997, while the US Air Force revealed the weeks later that F-16s were flying in the run with military operating areas just southwest of Seamanville.
Many times people didn't buy the explanation believing that what they saw was too technologically advanced for current human abilities. What's interesting is that if you ever seen the Phoenix lights, there's been several documentaries on those. Ah, negative. It's this weird kind of pulsing wedge shape of light in the sky that were up there for a while, like hundreds and hundreds of people, so on and thousands of people.
In fact, they're actually recorded and there's been a lot of theory and conspiracy about what they are. The military said all those are flares from fighter jets doing their maneuvers. Just a lot of questions around them, but they're witnessed by a lot of people. Well, you know, the Air Force coordinates the release of flares from fighter jets and they wedge shape all the time.
What's interesting is they were actually up in the air for quite a while, too. It wasn't like it was, hey, flare and then it's kind of a bad one. They would have burned out kind of quite well. I don't know if the road flares would go for a while, but I mean, they would have, were they stationary or were they stationary?
They were kind of stationary. They were over a while. You think you'd see them at least like falling and maybe leaving a streak because of the light. I mean, obviously, it doesn't even fall in kind of fast, you think?
So our last one. Number five is the East Coast Go Fast video that was from 2015. I was leaked in 2017 along with the news of the Advanced Activation or Aviation Threat Identification Program. It was a video that revealed an encounter between an F-A-18, super hornet and an unidentified flying vehicle.
Seen along the East Coast on the Rathan Advanced targeting forward, looking infrared or the Atflir pod. The craft was similar to that spotted off San Diego in 2004. A fast, moving white oval about 45 feet long without wings or exhaust plume. The flying tic-tac.
It was back. The pilots tracked the object at 25,000 feet above the Atlantic Ocean as it flew away and simultaneously rotated on its axis. No explanation ever emerged. All right.
So now that we've kind of gone through the five most credible UFO sightings, once I've been witnessed by numerous people, let's talk for a minute about UFO theory. And right now we're delving purely into opinion. Yes. Tim, what is your opinion as far as aliens and UFOs?
My opinion on aliens has slightly changed. Over the years, but it remains mostly the same. And that is, I don't necessarily believe in aliens, but I do, being a paranormal investigator, I will admit that there's the possibility that they could exist. My thing is, I kind of remain skeptical in things, and I still do it in the paranormal now as well.
I'm kind of like one of those people where I have to see it to believe it. And the problem is, I know, so these are the most credible experiences of people have witnessed, but nowadays with the technology we have and the editing equipment people have, I could probably spend about two hours and I can go make a UFO video. And that's where my problem comes in. And then back in the 90s, when you heard about all these crop circles and the Midwestern people getting kidnapped and inoprobed, I want to say that if there is an advanced species out there somewhere in the universe, I think they have better things to do at the time than to come and stick something up your butt.
So like I said, I mean... Say that to millions of frogs, I've been dissected in high schools across the country, Tim. Well, I'm not... You kind of open and you look at the whole inside.
And the only thing is if there is an advanced race that wants to come and study our bodies and kind of how we work, I'm pretty sure they can inform, but in just my opinion, they'll probably perform something similar to an autopsy or like you said, dissecting a frog. Like we do. I don't think they're going to stick a big probe up your butt and be like, okay, go back, have fun, tell people about it. What are the guys doing?
Tim, it's someone who's been treated for prostate cancer. It happens. So, so what you're saying, so what you're saying, these species, these aliens are coming from millions, if not billions of light years away just to conduct colonoscopies. Test prostate health, yes.
Very nice of them. No, and I've been fascinated by the fact that there possibly could be aliens. I remember when that movie came out probably about 10 years ago now. It was about the abduction in Alaska that I think had like Hillary Swanken, I can remember.
But throughout the movie, they showed like side by side comparison of the supposed actual like place footage and then the reenactment by the actors. And I remember this one guy worked just like, no, no, that's actual place footage. And I'm like, do you realize how easy it is for me to set up to the camera? I mean, obviously I'm reenacting it with my camera here.
So what's to say that they didn't record the same thing, which is different actors and say it was the real thing? And it's funny because I can't remember the name of the movie, but I did a lot of research. I've seen it now that you're saying that. I'm killing myself trying to remember it.
I was caught up here in a second. It's actually a pretty good movie. The fourth kind. I think it was the fourth kind.
But here's the thing is like, I mean, it's easy to go and say, oh, this is actual place footage. I mean, obviously you're recreating it to begin with. So why can't you just hire different actors and put them in the end? I mean, you wrote the script.
They can say the same thing as it's not hard. My thing was, and this is back before I even became an investigator, he tried to explain it away. And I've heard people throughout the year say they had the hieroglyphics and stuff like that where they draw people with domes around their heads and whatnot. Talk about ancient alien stuff?
Yeah. And you see the hieroglyphics where they talk about overlords that taught them how to do stuff and stuff like that. And then people talking about ancient languages, like Sumerian, they're not used anymore. And in some of these movies, they say that aliens teach them stuff or they talk to them and smearing or whatever.
And my explanation to that is being an avid lover of the paranormal, and even before I became an investigator, I personally would always just talk it up to demons. Because those things are crafty. They have, depending on which ones you're dealing with, they have infinite knowledge. Pretty much.
I mean, they know things that a normal person would know. I mean, they always speak in Latin. What's to say that they don't know ancient smearing or they can jump in somebody and make them speak in smearing. You know what I mean?
Better answer than said, don of time. Yeah. So my thing is, part of me wants to say that I think that some of these alien sightings or the alien encounters could possibly be them saying maybe something demonic in nature, not necessarily an alien. And since those things can't really have a shape, they say they can't make themselves look like what some people have seen.
And there's other stuff. I'm drawing a blank. And other stuff. And other stuff.
So we'll just put whatever they want. I hate that one. You're like in the middle of something. You just lose your train with that.
So there's that. So if it comes back, you feel pretty kick in. So kind of my theory on UFOs, I kind of have a tendency to view things through two lenses. One lens is the scientific lens.
In other words, religious lens. So when I come across a phenomenon or something along that lines, I try and kind of get paired against a religious place and see if it fits. I haven't really come across anything that hasn't fit. So let's talk scientific first.
And we'll go ahead, Tim. So one thing that I've told people over the years is when they say, well, what about UFOs? I said, I believe in UFOs because a UFO literally stands for unidentified flying object. So yeah, if you got something flying around in the sky that no one knows what it is, church a UFO.
Does it mean that there's a little green man sitting inside of it? No. We'll talk about the little green man in a minute. Yes, we will.
But that's what I've always said is this like, they don't know what it is. So technically it is a UFO. So identified. But I've worked with a guy that he swears up and down like we wouldn't have the technology that we have today if it wasn't for aliens because they're giving us the technology.
And I'm like, you don't really understand the power of the human mind, do you? Because I mean, if let's say aliens are not real, if they're fake, I mean, there's a lot of stuff that are fake, but the human mind is so awesome. I mean, the other movies and the books and stuff that we have now that people have just created because they thought of it. You know what I mean?
Well, look at the technology we have now that we keep building upon. You know, look at a computer now versus a computer 10 years ago. It's because we go, I wonder if I can make it do this or you know, it'd be neater. A computer now or a computer 10 years ago can't even do it myself.
I can do it now. Exactly. So kind of my thoughts on aliens. I'm going to tackle from a scientific standpoint first.
Why not? I mean, we're here on this earth. We've got technology. There are billions upon billions if not trillions of stars out there and uncounted in different galaxies.
Why couldn't there be another planet or planets that have life such as ours? Who's to say that there are other planets that are technologically advanced enough to travel that cause most to come visit? I'm going to commit a supernatural error heresy here and say for those who approach things with a scientific aspect, aliens are far more plausible than ghosts. If you think about it from a scientific aspect, ghosts deal with religion in the soul.
Aliens deal with science. There's more planets. Why can there not be different peoples on different planets and what is to keep them from developing technology to travel and come visit? So that's my thought from the scientific aspect.
Is it makes sense that it could be? It kind of concerns me to extend when people are like, oh, no, there's no such thing. There's no such thing. Well, why couldn't there be?
I think it's far more plausible from a scientific aspect to make sense of aliens than spirits. So my thing is just like you hear about all this stuff and I grew up in the 90s. So that's one of the crop circles and the anal probes and all that was really huge. So I'm growing an error where I'm just like, I just don't think that if there's an advanced race from another planet somewhere that they're coming here to burn shit in the grass and stick stuff up our butts.
I'm just like, I have made the joke where it's like, yeah, we came and we analyzed you and then we put our results in the crops. So the crops are really just the doctors notes on what they found. Yikes. But some of the work actually made the joke that aliens are most likely just like our version of teenagers where they're just drinking a beer and having fun.
Well, the bastard's out just cruising the cosmos. So I used to straight up say I don't believe in aliens and I would always like I said with the OFLs, I believe in the OFLs because it's exactly that. But over the last couple years, especially with all they've learned dealing with the paranormal, I am willing to admit now that there is a possibility that there could be another race out there somewhere besides our own. I mean, I give you even go as far as looking into the LDS religion.
They talk about other planets like our own with people on it like us. So I mean, if you want to get in the religious aspect of that, like you were saying, it's entirely possible that there are other planets out there and someone can have the technology to travel that far. Well, now let me delve into the religious aspect just a little bit and I hope I'm not committing heresy to an extent here. But from a mortal standpoint from where we sit, God appears to be a huge supernatural being.
Was to say that God isn't a super advanced all knowing a mipotent. I don't want to be a little God in any sense of the word when I say this, but who's to say that he's not just a super advanced race. And the way I hate going down this makes me sound like one of those ancient aliens crazies. You don't have to have that.
I don't have that for that. But who's to say that from a religious standpoint, we've put a lot of mysticism around something that is very clear, very simple and very basic. Who's to say how this planet works? God created it.
If you believe in the religious texts, the scriptures got created the planet. Who's to say how or what or through what means? It was kind of interesting. It was been five or six years ago.
I was actually out walking one night. And as I was out walking, I saw this probably two or three hundred fireballs in the sky that were traveling from west to east. And they started on the western horizon and I watched them go overhead. And I watched them go all the way over to the east.
And I remember seeing, kind of asking myself, what the hell was that? And I had it. Who's known my ex wife with me at the time and she saw it. So I wasn't just like small compayote or anything.
I was going to say to quote Rick James, cocaine to hell with drug. And I saw it in a second while and from I'm a religious guy, I thought, you know, I'm seeing this going. There's got to be an explanation for it. But I'm also thinking of, you know, when it talks about the scriptures of signs and wonders in the sky, I think it's probably classified as a sign or wonder in the sky.
And I went home later that night and, you know, check the KSL because if you're in Utah, that's what you do. You go check the KSL. KSL.com and nothing. And so it went to bed the next morning, woke up, checked the KSL again.
And there's a new story about some Chinese space station which had fallen at the atmosphere and broken up and had been seen going from west east across the sky. And it's super cool looking. It's kind of thing where I wish I had my camera out to record it, but it was just amazing seeing these fireballs just slowly traveling across the sky as a space station burned up. You know, another instance I was home one night.
I was sitting on my computer. It was the middle of the night. All of the sky outside lit up, bright as day, literally is bright as day. And I was on a great big boom.
You know, sitting there, thinking what the hell was that? And again, next day, check the KSL and turned out some meteor about the size of a kitchen stove had burned up and kind of blown up in the atmosphere over Utah. And that's what the bright light was in the great big boom. UFOs are unexplained objects.
Sometimes there's explanations for them. Sometimes we don't have explanations for them. I don't know. But I think realistically you have to approach anything with an open mind to say there could be an explanation scientifically.
There could be an explanation scientifically what is to stop there from being another race of beings on another planet somewhere that could come and visit. But I'd have to say it's a little naive of people to sit there every time I see something that I have to just assume that there's an alien race inside of that object. I would agree. And I think that comes down to kind of how when we talk about paranormal, like ghosts and spirits and we have absolute believers, skeptic believers, you know, those people who are skeptical of every single thing they see and those who sign on every single thing that happens to him as paranormal nature.
I think it falls under that same category. You know, everybody who sees something in the sky goes aliens, you know, like when I saw the Chinese space station, if I just stuck my head in the sense that invention, you know, obviously there's an explanation on the KSL the next day. But again, I think some people, it's like ancient aliens on the history channel. You know, I see some of that stuff and everything's aliens, everything's aliens.
And you know, I don't mean to discount the show completely, but some of the stuff you're like, yeah, dude, you're not everything's aliens. You know? That's what I'm saying. It's just like people see stuff like aliens.
It's just like, you gotta understand that not everything, you know, like he said, not anything paranormal, not anything's aliens. And I enjoy having brain farts halfway through my point. So this happens very late at night. Yes, but it's just like, I look at it with the approach that a lot of people take towards the paranormal.
