I would like to understand about Revelation 14;1-3: - (00:04) Q1. a) Does that mean that from the Old Testament to the New Testament until that moment that Jesus Christ comes to earth the 2nd time, there will be only 144,000 true believers what will be saved? Knowing that 144,000 of the redeemed were from the 12 tribes of Revelation 7 and He has chosen us before the foundation of the world, referring to Ephesians 1:4. i.e. Are there only 144,000 that will be saved? - (01:35) Q1. b) Is Ephesians 1:4 regarding election? Are these people (who are chosen and predestined to be saved) the same as Revelation 7 and 14? If it is, then there is only 144,000 that will be saved from the Old Testament to the New Testament times. - (04:25) Q2. I have read 3 verses in passage that are all about the same story in Matthew 8;28, Mark 5:2, Luke 8;27. I realised that these verses showed a different number of people being possessed with devils. Matthew says there were 2 people possessed with devils that went up to Jesus, but Mark and Luke both say that there is 1. Why is this so? - (22:49) Q3. The LORD Jesus asked, “My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?” while He hung on the cross. Being omniscient because He is God, this would not have been done out of ignorance. Why did He ask such a question? Was this an expression of His intense suffering due to His human nature? There are many explanations as to what Jesus meant when He asked why God has forsaken Him. What is the correct understanding? In what way did God forsake Jesus? - (31:24) ==== Question & Answer Series Bible Presbyterian Church of WA Sunday 13th December 2020 To view the series playlist, use this link: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7ykqA1kvF6n9VJE7putTPt?si=fd10be45da784c1c For a full list of previously covered questions, please click the following link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1I_99pWTfq7b5fpKVKa6xft8ymA9Tlq5hgsUvhBNhvxM To watch this video on YouTube, use this link: https://youtu.be/mHDQT03iS9k Subscribe to keep up to date with our weekly content releases and please leave us a positive rating if you would like to support our channel.
