You know how we all have those foods we just can't stand? The kind that, no matter how many times people tell you, "You just haven’t tried it the right way," you’re convinced it’s never going to be good? For Pastor Joshua, it was mustard... And he share a story in his introduction about how hen came to actually enjoy mustard. But it’s funny how we can be so sure about something and then be completely turned around, right? It’s not just food, though. Sometimes we do the same thing with other things in our lives. We’ve got these fixed ideas or prejudices, whether it’s about people, methods of doing things, or even places, and we’re convinced we’re right. But just like Pastor Joshua's mustard experience, God sometimes steps in and challenges us to rethink our assumptions... And in this sermon, we dive into Acts 10:1-16. In this passage, Peter had his own "mustard moment." He was certain about what was clean and unclean, but God had a surprise in store for him. God used this moment to show Peter—and us—that as we GET AFTER IT for the expanding of the Kingdom of God, He doesn’t tolerate prejudice in His people.
