When we immerse ourselves in God's word, it transforms our mindset, allowing us to walk in the Spirit and overcome our fleshly desires. Joseph insists that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, urging us to embrace the foundational truths of what Jesus has accomplished for us to see results in our lives. Notably, he informs us that the church acts as a powerful restrainer against the forces of darkness because, as Christ is, so are we in this world. He recounts numerous difficulties he faced within his household and how clinging to God's word led them to victory. Mary interrupted Jesus' parade as illustrated in Psalm 24 with her persistent cries for Him. In this way, Joseph insists that we can alter things through our prayers and intercession.
