Are You A Courageous Caregiver? Author Curtis L. Walker; Lewy Bodies Dementia

from CaregiverDave.com · host Dave Nassaney

Join Dave, The Caregiver's Caregiver, today at noon, PST, on the RadioStar Worldwide Network, (and afterwards ason recorded podcast), as he interviews author, Curtis Walker. Curtis spent 6, challenging years, caring for his sister, Annette Walker, who was diagnosed with Lewy Bodies Dementia. Lewy Bodies not only impacts the memory and cognitive skills, but it also traumatizes the body in that it causes tightness and rigidity in every major muscle group. In his new book, "The Courageous Caregiver", he recalls the stories and events of the care experience, but it also is loaded with the tools that are geared toward equipping the caregiver to manage the care with a sound structure, as well as serving as a reminder that a caregiver must take the time to care for themselves. Curtis is very passionate about the caregiver and deliberate about getting this message out to them so that they can be equipped with the right tools to remind the caregiver that they are not alone, but are connected to others who serve at the same level and who really understand the pressures that they are under.
