Are you someone who likes to text or get a phone call? For me, it depends. These days, most people do not want to talk on the phone under any circumstances. On the other hand, there are some people who want to hear your voice and hear your emotions. When you are on the phone, I think you can hear better what the tone of the conversation is. We all know that some real arguments have been started because someone has misread what you were trying to say.To have good communication, you must be able to adapt to different scenarios so you should be open to people who text, people who call and people who prefer face to face interactions. You can't go into any relationship, regardless of who it is with, without bending to meet the other person halfway. If you only do things your way, you will find that you don't have many people to talk to.There are times when a text is just fine. Like when you are on a group chat and they are telling you that the food drive at the school on Saturday at 9a. You don't need to have a phone call for that. Then there are times when you need to have a call. Perhaps you are tutoring someone and they just don't get the concept through text or email. You may have to face time them or just call them to get through to them.No matter what you choose to use, make sure you keep the lines of communication open!
