Are You an Asshole to Yourself?

from Stephing Up · host Steph Pase

I had a conversation with a friend recently where I mentioned all of the things I wanted to get done by the end of the day. I wanted to record a podcast, finish off an old project and start on a new one, edit the week's content, and take the girls to the park. Within two hours because that seemed reasonable. When I say the silence was LOUD. My friend just stared at me before she said “You want to do two full days of work in two hours.”I didn’t even realise, and yet I would have been angry with myself if I hadn’t gotten all that work done. Today’s episode is all about the expectations that we put on ourselves, and how to move past the negative self-talk. I’ve even created a checklist so that you can see where you sit on the a-hole scale. This episode is for you if you:✨ Feel guilty for having “free time”✨ Never manage to complete your to-do list✨ Don’t allow yourself to make mistakes✨ Focus on what you didn’t achieve rather than everything you have accomplished… and so much moreCheck out my Reset Roadmap episode on goal setting to download the framework that will change your life.☎️ Feeling like a hot mess?
