I had a conversation with a friend recently where I mentioned all of the things I wanted to get done by the end of the day. I wanted to record a podcast, finish off an old project and start on a new one, edit the week's content, and take the girls to the park. Within two hours because that seemed reasonable.When I say the silence was LOUD. My friend just stared at me before she said “You want to do two full days of work in two hours.”I didn’t even realise, and yet I would have been angry with myself if I hadn’t gotten all that work done. Today’s episode is all about the expectations that we put on ourselves, and how to move past the negative self-talk.
