Are you becoming a soft parent?

Let's be clear, the word soft gets a bad rap it's almost like a bad thing...Tranquillo. If you don't want to use that word it's fine. We can try others. But how does becoming a parent changes us inside? And just to be clear I'm not talking about "soft parenting" which is an actual thing. I'm talking about not being so strict or not following thru with the punishment you gave your child because they look u in the face with those baby eyes and break your very soul.
