Are You Coachable?

Are you open to constructive criticism? If you ask for someone's advice, will you listen even if it doesn't sound easy or sexy? It's not easy to always be receptive to outside guidance, but if we are feeling stuck or uncertain, an external perspective can be just the ticket. In this episode, I tackle a question that hasn't been asked much since the days of town soccer and tennis try-outs: are you coachable? This isn't exclusive to people working with trainers, coaches, mentors etc. We are constantly engaged in feedback loops; whether we choose to use their momentum to our advantage is another matter. If we want change, we need stimuli. If we need access to a new path, we need a guide. Many paths lead up to the mountain, but who would you choose to lead you?
