Are You Deceived? | Exposing Deception | Acts 13:1-12 | w/ Joshua Sanders

How many of us have held onto a belief we thought was the truth, but later realized we were deceived? At the start of this sermon, Pastor Joshua shares a story of when he thought that an opinion he had was truth, but he later realized that he was deceived! Just like he was deceived about something, there are many people that are caught in true deception in our world. And in this sermon, we begin diving into Acts 13 and go from verse one to verse twelve. In this passage, we find Paul confronting someone else who’s deceived, not just personally but in a way, that was leading others astray. Unlike Pastor Joshua's story that he shares, there was something much more at stake here: it was the truth of the Gospel. And Paul shows us that when we’re called to bring truth, we have to be willing to confront deception—even if it’s uncomfortable.
